PKMetal When I learned that Iomair, my favorite band of the year and maybe the decade, was going on hiatus, I consoled myself by checking out the members' other bands, including this one.

I'm glad to find it's some top-notch melodeath. There's easily enough variety in the songwriting to keep things interesting and set it apart in a crowded field. I'm on board for whatever's next.

That said, I'll hold out hope for as many years as it takes that the transcendant magic of Iomair will be back one day! Favorite track: Like Fools to Kings.
